There is hope for Wireless Mouse users because they can usually solve the problem by updating their device drivers.
It is often hard to find a right solution to a Targus Wireless Mouse hardware-related error by visiting Targus's website. The process of upgrading the Targus Wireless Mouse's device drivers, even for an experienced computer user, can still take long periods of time and become repetitive to execute periodically. Incorrect hardware drivers can lead to more serious issues than just a faulty installation.

Driver maintenance services make sure that your drivers are up-to-date and that you have a backup of your current drivers before downloading new drivers. Sustaining a driver backup file is an excellent feature that allows you to revert any driver back to a previous version, in the event that something catastrophic occurs.

Please fix DisplayLink Drivers as using an external 4K monitor (Samsung S32R750) with Targus DV4K with latest drivers (5.2.5) on macOS Catalina (10.15.6 on MacBook Pro 16" 2020) plugged through Apple USB-C cable (40 Gbits) is making everything "laggy" on the external 4K (mouse, space change, video playing, etc.).Everything has been tested (cables check and changes, switching HDMI or DisplayPort, using original Targus single USB-C cable or using Apple USB-C cable, etc.) to see this issue it is ONLY and DIRECTLY linked to DisplayLink Drivers on MacOS.No issues when using a simple USB-C adapter with 4K HDMI (instead of my Targus DV4K Dock) : this is crazy as most of these adaptors are under $100 or even $50 compared to my Targus DV4K which is more than $300 !!
I went from a pair of MSI displays to a Samsung Odyssey 49" and keep trying to use the Startech dock with Displaylink. The lag on windows opening/closing is painful. Startech even blames Displaylink for bad drivers. So here's my $300 dock and i have HDMI plugged into my laptop because of your terrible drivers. I feel like just tossing this dock and getting a laptop with Thunderbolt.
Any time there is any video updates to my DisplayLink connected monitors @ 1080P (full screen video) the displaylink user agent service CPU consumption goes above 50% which correlates to the laggy mouse. MacOS Monterey / DisplayLink Manager 1.6. on a 15" 2018 MacBook Pro.
Same thing for me here. On a macbook pro with 10.15.7. Screen lags so much the $400 dock I just bought is unusable. The lag stops once you get down to 1280x720, but that is again unusable. Please fix these drivers.
HP Envy 13t laptop USB-C port quit working with Targus 410 docking station after 1 year. Have already confirmed the following: WIndows update, uninstalled USB root hub in Device Manger, re-installed Targus drivers, System Restore, Auslogics utility - last two gave limited fix - external dock KP, mouse, audio would work for a little while - but after unplugging USB-C cable, dock not connected when re-attached. ALso tried connecting MOTO Z3 to USB-C port - not detected. 2ff7e9595c
